Taking Flight

I join Amal Academy to improve my communication skills and when I came here, I learn a lot of things. The way I start my journey by knowing myself, my weaknesses, my strengths, my values and principles and end with a positive energy.

We write a last note for each other in the last session on padlet board keep that padlet save on my Laptop so whenever I feel sad, I open it and read the last notes of my fellows

I always hesitate and feel shy to talk and connect with new people but when I came here. I realize that my fellows also come here with similar goals and that thing ultimately help me to connect with my batch fellows. Regardless of the work, we share our struggle stories and gave encouragement to each other.

I feel that bonding I develop here with some of my batch fellows is stronger than my friendship with university friends.

And for me that place Is Amal Academy and that people are my batch fellows.

I want to remain in contact with my fellows and facilitators. Last week,I have a meet up with my fellows .I feel very happy to meet with them because the whole session is online and we first time meet up in person. I plan that I will remain in touch with my fellows both on WhatsApp and by in person meetup.

Fellowship is one thing but all the fellows are incredible and all are gems. The environment that Sir Zaki and Ma’am Namra created from day1 was outstanding everyone was so supported throughout the fellowship. And I have been blessed with very smart and down to earth members from both of my first learning group and mega project circle.
